The Godfather (1972)

This movie was an offer I couldn’t refuse. I don’t know why it took me this long to see this classic film, but I finally did. Luckily it doesn’t have to sleep with the fishes. This movie is a horse head above the rest. I really enjoyed it and I enjoyed watching all the characters develop (or die). After watching shows like the Sopranos, I’ve felt like old mobster movies have lost their shine, this movie still holds strong even to this day. It’s filmed wonderfully, has great music and I just love all the characters and drama that goes on. It’s the quintessential film on crime. So even if it’s the day of your daughter’s wedding, you should probably not turn this film down.
