Dios Mio… This movie was pretty crazy. It starts off with a crazy chase after a chicken and then ends in almost a crossfire between a gang and police. The movie spans over many, many years. You get to watch kids grow up in the slums to become gangsters in their own territories. One boy breaks away from that stuff and becomes a famous photographer. The movie is incredibly interesting, but as far as entertainment value goes, I probably wouldn’t re-watch this movie again. It’s way, way too long and it isn’t so compelling I’d sit through it all again. I’m definitely glad I saw it once, but I think I’ll leave God to watch over the city, I’ll just be watching something else.
