Over the river and through the woods to Gradmurderer’s house we go! This M. Night Shyamalan movie isn’t his best one, it also isn’t his worst either. I’m not a huge fan of the “found footage” style of the Blair Witch project, mainly because I hate the constant re-explaining the characters have to do while telling us why they have a camera with them everywhere they go. This movie at least has some really good humor, which adds to the entertainment factor. The scares are scarce. I think I may have jumped at one part, but otherwise I was laughing and smiling throughout. The young boy who raps was pretty good for a child actor and his sister was pretty and had a nice speaking voice. Be ready for M. Night’s patented twist and go off your rocker as you see this movie about scary Grandparents.
