Everest (2015)

While watching this movie I thought… Will the filmmakers ever let me rest? This film has a lot of scary scenes and suspense. Mother nature is not to be messed with and I found myself asking several times “Why do people do this to themselves?” I was tired just watching the climbers get tired. The movie is really beautiful with its picturesque views. The acting is all really good especially from Jason Clarke. I wasn’t too happy with Keira Knightley, but her part was smaller in this luckily. The movie is very suspenseful but be ready to feel the sadness as movies like this don’t always turn out to be hopeful ones. Still, despite the fact that it wasn’t uplifting, it did climb to great heights with a different experience. I’ve said this many times, I don’t love disaster movies, but at least this movie had some better character development and you felt bad when you lost a character.

71/100
