The Human Centipede (First Sequence) (2010)

This movie gets one point for every section of the centipede. This film is awful. Horrible dialogue (even the German and Japanese dialogue is bad) the acting is also very sub-par. A lot of credit is given to the Doctor but I even think he serves up more ham than a Christmas dinner. The plot is sickening and even though it is original, did this need to be made? I found no entertainment value to this and it just made my late-night snack want to come back up. My stomach still roils with revulsion. I feel sorry for the three actors who had to be the centipede and I hope they were paid well, because the embarrassment their families probably had to go through with this being released must have been substantial. Humanity is better than this to create a film so devoid of art. I hope to never see something this bad again, although I’m not getting my hopes up with the direction horror films are going torture over fear seems to be the new trend. Even the end of the film is as nourishing as being the tail end of a human centipede. Devoid of any flavor or panache.

  1. I, unfortunately, watched one of the later ones. (I can’t remember which as I’ve tried to wipe the entire thing from memory.) That film was awful and left me scarred for a day or two after. :S

    • Yeah, I am trying to forget what I saw too, it’s hard to wipe out those terrible images. I just hope I never have to watch any others. Thanks for the comment! šŸ™‚
