Life is Beautiful (1997)

This movie is beautiful. Roberto Benigni does a fantastic job of making a movie about the holocaust beautiful and funny, which aren’t the normal adjectives that you would use for the film’s subject matter. It was sad too, but he did a good job of making it more lighthearted than sad. Benigni was an adorable father, you just want to see him succeed and survive in the harsh world of Nazi territory. There are other WWII films that I enjoy more, but this one is quite pleasant to see. Check this one out, it’s really good.

88/100
