I wouldn’t say this was to funny but it was okay. I think the film had a consistent amount of laughs, but I never laughed so hard that tears started running down my face like some comedies have. Lloyd and Harry both look a lot older 20 years later but Rachel Melvin gives the movie a more youthful look. It’s pretty crazy it took this long for a sequel and maybe it wasn’t needed, but I felt like this movie was a reminder of a funny movie back in the 90’s that had great music and good laughs. There were a lot of good nostalgic mentions to the first films like spraying the breath freshener the wrong way, the Mutt Cutt’s van and Jim Carrey fighting ninjas for the girl he loves. The movie left me a bit sad because these comedians are getting quite old and I’m hoping that if they make a third one, it can be a reboot with some younger actors. I’d be interested in seeing that… or they could just leave the series alone and put it to rest. Either way, if you have a lot of good memories of Dumb and Dumber, this film will take you down a trip to memory lane.
