Crocodile Dundee (1986)

You’ve heard of “fish out of water” movies, well this is a “Croc out of water” story. Crocodile Dundee has its moments but honestly it isn’t the classic I remembered. Maybe, I’ve just seen so many of this type of movie, they don’t faze me anymore. It’s a halfway decent romantic comedy. Linda Kozlowki is pretty enough and Paul Hogan is about as manly as a male lead as you can get (although what’s with that tan?) but I wouldn’t even say this is a great romantic comedy. The final scene on the subway platform is great but the whole movie Kozlowski is kissing/hitting on Dundee while also stringing along her current man who lives in New York. What a naughty Sheila. This is a classic 80’s movie that you could do without.

68/100
