Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure (1989)

I wouldn’t say this is excellent (guitar wail) but it was semi-tubular. Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves play some slackers in a band where they have to save the future by finishing their school’s history report. They use a time travelling phone booth to accomplish this goal. The jokes are pretty lame most of the time but I do love the dialogue in the film. Especially the line “There is something afoot at the Circle K”. I had a good laugh from that line. It was neat to see George Carlin as a man from the future and all the historical figures letting loose in the 80’s like Billy the Kid and Socrates (or So-crates as they call him). The movie isn’t a bummer but it’s not exactly rad either. Check it out and see what you think of it yourself, I just love the 80’s vibe it gives off. Party on, dudes! Be excellent to each other!

72/100
