X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014)

Well this was no Back to the Future, but it was a pretty excellent movie. Days of Future past is the second installment of the McAvoy era of X-Men movies. It was interesting to see director Bryan Singer blend the two casts together to make this film, although the old cast seemed to have a much smaller role in this movie. The usual suspects are all there with Peter Dinklage and giant robots called Sentinels thrown in. Jennifer Lawrence somehow rocks the blue body suit a lot better than her predecessor. Nicholas Hoult and Evan Peters stole the show for the male actors. I felt like Michael Fassbender aged quite a bit from the last film to this one. There were some great moments of action and comedy which pleased me greatly, it just didn’t have the initial wow-factor the last one did. Still, this one is worth seeing for sure. You’ll find it to be Mag-Neato!
