No, I actually picked this movie. It wasn’t a mix-up. I was at my wife’s Grandmother’s and we were searching for Christmas movies to watch, so I picked this one. I must say, it really wasn’t that bad. Yes, some of the acting was a little on the bad side, but I thought it was a fun Christmas film. I was able to guess the plot twist (mainly from the title) pretty quickly. Alicia Witt is very fun to watch, not only is she a cute red-head (who doesn’t like that?) but she has the most adorable facial expressions. She was definitely the star of the film. The movie’s villain (Witt’s fiance in the film) was as anti-Christmas as you can imagine. He did a good job, though. The new love interest she runs into accidentally was pretty bad, and I would say the vast share of points lost for the film are due to him. So, if you are looking for a fun and cheesy Hallmark movie to curl up to this winter, this one won’t kill you, at least it has Alicia Witt to brighten your Holidays.
