A Daydream on Elm Street. This was too light and fluffy for me. It didn’t have any of the punch of scariness that the first film had. Mr. Krueger was almost more comedic than the terrorizer of your dreams that he should be. The lead character was incredibly cheesy and his romantic interest was at least a little better, although not much could have saved this film. I got really bored about halfway through the film and wished that I would have picked a stronger way to end my Halloween. The special effects are probably the only reason to see this as they were pretty inventive, especially Freddy coming out of the lead characters chest. Worth a look if you are studying make-up and effects otherwise I wouldn’t be afraid to fall asleep during this one.
