Jackie Brown (1997)

Pam Grier as Jackie Brown: when you absolutely, positively got to scam every mutha– in the room, accept no substitutes! When people talk about Tarantino, this movie isn’t brought up very often. It’s one of his more interesting films. It’s a very good heist movie, but it also rolls along at its own slow and steady pace. You find yourself loving each character in the film. From the beach bunny Bridget Fonda to the goofy ATF Agent Michael Keaton. If you can sit through this lengthy movie you’ll see a lot of twists and turns and awesome writing. Some of Tarantino’s shots are also incredibly interesting. My favorite part of this film is its use of music and also the use of shocking deaths that come out of nowhere. Excellent film!
