Restraint (2008)

It will take a lot of restraint for me to not rip on this films ending, but I’ll do my best. I thought this movie was interesting, albeit very slow. It’s an Australian thriller where Stephen Moyer has two criminals barge in on him at his home. He has terrible agoraphobia, the fear of open spaces, so he can’t leave his house. Teresa Palmer has never looked more stunning than in this film. Her character is interesting and she did a fine job. Her boyfriend Ron, played by Travis Fimmel, took things a little too far and I just didn’t care for him. I kept thinking something profound would happen in this film, but it never came to be. It was a letdown in the end. Still it has a good atmospheric thrill to it, and Teresa Palmer. So points for that I guess.

66/100
