Mary Poppins (1964)

Normally I would tell a live-action Disney movie to “Go Fly a Kite”, but with this fantastic film, I don’t have to say that. Julie Andrews plays the stunningly beautiful Mary Poppins as she tries to not only Save Mr. Banks but his naughty children too. There were many impressive things about this film but two stuck out to me more than the others. Dick Van Dyke’s dancing was amazing. He had some hard choreography to do. I also thought the meshing of animated and real characters was really good for it being 50 years ago when this movie was made. A really fun and good musical, family-oriented movie.

96/100
