The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013)

The Hunger games offered us seconds but kept the dessert just out of reach. I loved the darker tone this film took. It at times made me feel uncomfortable and I felt a great rage toward the bigwigs of the Capitol. The acting was all just as good. Lawrence is an excellent Katniss and I thought Philip Seymour Hoffman was a good addition. The actual Hunger Games event is what left me starving for more, and the ending was also a letdown as it was just bridging us toward the final sequel or sequels.

86/100
