Honestly listening to Liberace play the piano for two hours straight would have been more entertaining. This movie was two hours long but felt like at least eight. Michael Douglas did a good job as Liberace but the story was just so dreadfully boring even a good performance and lots of sequins couldn’t save it. The costumes and sets were very nice and I do think the direction from Soderbergh was passable. Still, I can’t recommend this unless you just have to see Douglas and Damon make love. I don’t fall into that camp.
