Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters

An even more amped up version of the last film. Rick Riordan’s story comes to life with even more Greek Mythological references and even a surprise visit from Nathan Fillion who makes a Firefly reference, which brought me endless joy. The action is good but the comedy is very low brow set for small children. I found myself rolling my eyes and some of the slapstick comedy. Alexandra Daddario is the true Goddess in this. Her part is smaller than the last film, but she is still awesome.

80/100
