Magic Magic

This movie had me intrigued for the most part. I thought Juno Temple was awesome. Michael Cera’s character grew on me. I was also a bit annoyed that a lot of this film was subtitled when I wasn’t expecting it to be. You get immersed in the mystery surrounding Temple’s character. Is she cracking up? Are Emily Browning’s friends trying to harm her? As you follow this cast down the rabbit hole you emerge towards a very odd and cowardly ending. The way this ended makes me feel cheated. A shame.

40/100
